  Microbial Organic Fertilizer Production Method

Our proprietary technical know-how in the “Microbial Organic Fertilizer Production Method” can be summed up as the harnessing of special microbial cocktails having the maximum efficiency, onto a specially formulated organic substrate mix, applied within a  controlled processing environment, which induces a favourably accelerated composting process compared with the normal rate of decomposition while this accelerated process produces far superior end products, consistently possessing the predicted desired characteristics.  To further clarify:

“Special microbial cocktails” are blends of specific genera of microbes; identified, isolated, characterised and stabilised from indigenous micro-flora populations without any form of modification. They comprise all the naturally occurring groups of beneficial microbes that have specific roles in decomposition. The technology lies in the careful selection of the cocktail members and controlling of their population mix in order to enhance their combined anti-pathogenicity to perform specific functions.

“Maximum efficiency” means that as a result of the total sum of combined and synergistic effects contributed by each of the members of the cocktail blend, the breakdown process of the organic substrate runs to its maximum efficacy, reducing considerably the composting time as opposed to natural unaided composting, without resulting in any undesirable conditions, such as malodour, toxicity or pathogenecity.

“Specially formulated organic substrate mix” means a special blend of biomass material that when arranged and prepared for the composting process the whole mix will allow the optimum conducive environment for composting to occur, such as, C:N ratio, initial pH, initial temperature, initial moisture and porosity level. The other critical consideration of the choice of the organic substrate is their individual nutrient content. The final formulation is only arrived at after careful mathematical calculation that would give a confident prediction that the end product would yield the desired value for all the quality parameters.

“Controlled processing environment” will facilitate the application of process engineering and biotechnology to trigger and achieve the necessary processing regimes of each of the various processing parameters such as pH level, temperature level, oxygen supply rate and moisture level. It also includes the calculated timing of release of pre-measured portions of the cocktail into the composting material at specific composting stages in order to maximise the effect of different microbial genera during the composting process.

End products “consistently possessing the predicted desired characteristics” means the products that are produced from the above designed and controlled process consistently conform to the predetermined set of quality standards. The set of predetermined standards are those that are predicted for each kind of organic substrate mix. The quality parameters include the optimum balance of macro and micro nutrients, optimum pH and most importantly, containing a sizable level of beneficial microbial population as well as a good measure of decomposed organic matter.
